I like what I've seen of Nestrasil. If he keeps getting ice time I can see him adding some much needed offense to this goal starved team.

Howard has looked solid so far this season... he's just not getting enough offense support from team in front of him. Reminds me of last season. This team has WAY too much offensive talent to not be scoring more goals. Babcock better get this sorted out quick.

I like to seeing Datsyuk and Hank centering two separate lines and seeing what happens. I just pray they both can stay healthy.. along with the rest of the team. Seems like at least one of our veterans is always injured. Constant problem when the core of team is 34+ years or older.

Helm, Sheahan, and Tatar need to start producing with some sort of consistency. Also need some production from the D other than Kronwall. Kindl, Smith, and DeKeyser should have more than 1 goal combined at this point of the season.

it definitely makes sense to send Jurco down. He's been outplayed by most of his teammates and he isn't producing any secondary scoring so far. Before the start of the season I would have been against it, but now it doesn't seem like such a bad idea.

He's better off playing top line minutes in Grand Rapids for a little bit, while being the first call-up (unless Mantha is doing much better), than rotating in and out of the bottom 6 in Detroit.

Tatar has looked pretty good the last couple games, has a few points too. Hopefully he keeps it up

Tatar just needs to keep doing it. Jurco is actually 6th on the team in shots he just hasn't been able to find the back of the net. Maybe a few games off could put some jump back in his step but I don't know if I'm ready to send him back to GR just yet.

I doubt he'd be down there very long, there's bound to be an injury sooner rather than later with this team just call him back up then.

Jurco and Nestrasil have similar stats so far, but Jurco likely has more potential and would likely benefit from a little confidence by playing some games in the minors.

They aren't going to demote/waive either Cleary or Weiss, at least not yet
